works by Hela Donela. exhibition & sale
AT BENTON SANDS, CALLALA BEACH
26 DEC 2016 TO 8 JAN 2017
On behalf of the owners and residents of Benton Sands in Callala Beach, we are delighted to announce
an exhibition of works by local Hela Donela, a resident of Benton Sands.
Titled “CALLALA 16” the exhibition will show a number of Hela’s recent works and will be on show
at the Benton Sands Committee room on Oakwood Copse (off Griffin Street), Callala Beach.
Hela Donela is an emerging Australian artist born in Finland and living on Callala Beach. Her works
have been exhibited in Sydney and overseas; and are a reflection of her exquisite awareness of
the natural world and coastal surroundings where she lives.
Hela’s paintings are an invitation to visual meditation and provide moments of peace in the middle
of our busy lives. Many of her works incorporate unique use of metal wire and staples.
